Very interesting, I've known about these for many years but the fact it'll compromise load area I've never fitted one. I did have a decent adj front strut bar on my last Focus and there was minimal improvements.
A quick update on my silver 3dr , ST170 headers(Toyomods UK) are on and working, 2x things to do is get the power steering pipe modified and change the shape of dipstick tube then it's make a new stainless exhaust system . Not a weekend job!

Great mod. Is that rust I see forming behind the seam sealer boot floor to arch area ? In Europe the focus rots quite badly behind those carpeted inner arch liners.

Would installing it inverted effect it's performance? That would put the horizontal bar closer to the floor, and be less obstructive when you collapse the back seats for extra trunk space.
