Great video! This is exactly what I needed to see!
Great video-especially the correct combination of rings and pressing
adapters for the ball joint press. Would have taken me weeks to figure it
all out on my own. Thanks.
It may, or it could just be bad bushings.
I have a 2000 expedition any videos on spindle repair
Thanks for watching. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Your video helped me a lot. Thank you. And I will keep you in mind for
parts.
how much would this cost me for both sides?
VERY HELPFUL
To allow the suspension to hang a bit easier.
Is it necessary to use new stabilizer links, or can the old ones be used?
Thanks
You’re welcome. No problem at all.
thanks for your quick responds
HI Tyson, you can place a bar under the tire or the vehicle, and lift up on
the bar while you check to see if the ball joint moves up and down. if it
does it’s worn and should be replaced.
Why do u need to losing the torsion bar ??
will the vehicle sqweak like crazy on bumpy roads and when pulling through
a parking lot if the ball joints are shot.
These 2 part videos were a big help and made the job a breeze, actually
took less time then changing the plugs on the 5.4. Thanks!!!!!!
good vid mike
HI Gabriel, We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this
particular repair. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that we
need to make this repair in the future. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
If the old ones are dry rotten it more than likely will lead to a shake in
the steering wheel on the highway. The links aren’t a whole lot of money,
if they’re old it’s easier to replace them while you’re already in there.
HI Poncho, The oair of lower ball joints are Part Number: 1ASBS00007 on our
