I sure appreciate your videos. I don’t work on vehicles, but am trying to help my elderly father save some money. I was able to replace the thermostat from watching your video on Thermostat replacement, but I am still not getting heat in the truck. My brother says it is the water pump because there is no water in the hose. Should I replace the water pump next? Hope someone can help me in the next few hours if you have time to respond. Thanks so much!

No gasket shellack, glue really

Thanks for this video. I was encouraged to do this job myself but my fan was mis-threaded on by whomever replaced the pump before. It took me 4 hours to get it off, and 6 hours to do the whole job. So I was expecting to be done in 19 minutes. Hopefully not everyone has 4 misthreaded bolts.
good but he doesn't show taking the old pump off and accessing the bolts. that's the difficult part which was edited out

I ran into problem after installing the new water pump now it’s over heating and shut off what think it can be?
