landed up taking it to a garage as it was making so much noise and no time to do it. OMG they bought the whole tensioner costing me a fortune. So anyone needs the tensioner. I have a new one less the pulley wheel. I can get that for £10 The tensioner is on my e bay . However, replacing the belt is a good idea.

Great video. Just finished replacing my belt, tensioner and idler pulley on my 02 Focus Dohc and all went reasonably well. The Dohc engine does not have the space to get into the bolts as easily. Instead of replacing just the pulley on the tensioner, decided to replace entire assembly. When I replaced the old belt, just cut it with a utility knife….saves a few minutes. Thanks for taking the time to explain the process.
