1A Auto is soooo dope!
I was scared to tackle this job alone, but I’ve replaced control arms and front shocks on my own. Thanks for the simple, straight to the point video!!!
Just a tip, cycle your shocks incase there is a dead zone, you don’t want to figure that out when your car is on the ground
Looking for are shocks for an 07 .Ranger
Thanks great video got my changed in the auto part store parking lot. Very easy as long as your old shocks slide off the bolts easily.
I love how you guys showed the easier one to do. The one next to the gas tank is a pain to get that top bolt out.
Great video. What is the torque on the shock bolts?
Are you able to do the other side without removing the spare tire?
Anything needing to be done on my Blue Ranger, the exact same model as your Red Ranger. If I've found a video you've done to replace something. 1AAuto videos are my go to every time! Hope you continue to make more videos. I also love your quality parts for less than most commercial parts stores! Keep doing what your doing 1AAuto!! Be around for a long time….
I am putting 2inch shackles on to replace my oem. Will need an after market absorber or will the stock size still fit with the new shackles ??
You do an excellent job on these videos young man. You have a nice voice and the instructions are concise and easy to understand. Very helpful!
Great vid and thanks!
I've owned a 2003 Ranger since new and do all repairs. My one piece of advice.
A week before you plan on doing this R&R, spray the bolts down with Liquid Wrench (or similar) every two days beforehand and drive over some bumpy roads.
Makes things ALOT easier to pop the nuts & blots when the time comes.
Mount the top, cut the band, guide the bottom into the lower mount works just as well.
How do you know what is a good shock for the truck?
Its to easy try my truck rusty.
Great video. Very helpful. Thanks!
I replaced both my rear shocks . Now the ride is stiff and bouncy. It that normal?
Best quality repair videos!
Is there a torque that the top and bottom nuts should be tightened to, or just until it's pretty snug?
