But no fix for how to fix a NOT BROKEN tailgate that will not LATCH. It is super easy if you know how, takes 20 seconds & no tools needed!

Chris Strickland says:

Awesome video, that you very much, I was stunned at how easy this was. I might not have tried if I hadn't watched your video.

Geeks And Guinness says:

Awesome! Thank you.

Michael Grigg says:

Fast and easy, thank you!

Stretch501st says:

Thank you for this video, my tailgate handle snapped off on one side on my 2010 ranger, but thankfully Autozone had a replacement handle in stock, and was able to replace handle exactly as you describe in video.

Aidtheman101 says:

Cabin Life says:

Joel Jimenez says:

gracias x el video Much appreciated

BlackDogsLivesMatter says:

It must be because a female was doing it that made it very easy to understand. Just watching it make it easy to figure out. Usually some yahoo beer drinker giving advice or an auto expert. Subscribed. I already had the tailgate cover and metal cover off and looked inside and thought…wtf do I do know…go to youtube. I wish you would have put a link to the metal one on amazon and the price. All my door handles are made out of plastic and scared of breaking them.

JD Gzan says:

Great video! Very straight forward, glad the process isn't as complicated as door handle replacement; looks pretty easy. Thanks for posting.

Jorge V says:

Thanks for the Video, hey better to use some sort of grease instead of the WD40

Ron h says:

gee..you coudn't make the handle all metal to begin with?

me you says:

Thanks…Perfect video I felt like a champion when I was done

John Gates says:

Really good strait forward video..
I am replacing the old one with a metal one I bought off ebay.. Good move to lube the areas that need it. I have a 2011 Ranger 4×4 . I didnt realize how easy it is to do.
Guess I'm not surprised the original was plastic.
Thx Again.

Monster mash says:

What one did you order on amazon? The only metal ones I can find don't fit my 2009 ford ranger. Can you post a link if you can find it or if its still available?

Billy Baker says:

What do you oil the latch mechanism with?

Chris Anderson says:

Excellent video. Thank you! I did this repair today in less than an hour (including time to wash out the bed of the truck) and saved almost $200 over what the dealer wanted to charge.
