Todays DIY Video is replacing the infamous Ford IWE Vacuum hub that is quite common to fail. This system uses vacuum to keep the vehicle in 2wd when 4×4 is engage the vacuum is disconnected from the hub and allows the front hub to engage. This is why when the vehicle is off the half shaft will rotate. This diy is I would say moderate to do.

Thanks fordtechmakuloco jr. Put the nut on the studs and hit the stud out of the holes with the lower control arm weight on the jack. It's easier.
