is this the same for 07 navigator? there’s so many other solutions from
brake light switch, fuses, the spring in the shift knob, now this?
I have a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer is the part number the Dorman aftermarket
PN is 924-707?
I’m currently experiencing this issue. My explorer is parked at a park and
I’m worried that it will be towed before the replacement chip arrives. I
read on a forum that someone managed to force the shifter by muscling it
into reverse…do you think this will break it?
Thanks for posting the video!
Also the Dorman aftermarket PN is 924-707
Excellent Video and thanks for sharing the info! It comes apart much easier
than goes back together. I bought a new moduel from Ford and then installed
the 2 larger harnesses first, then snapped the unit into position and used
a stainless dental pic to reattach the final 2 wire harness. Works liek a
champ!
Hi Dr. Thanks for this. I am having the same issue. I live in Dubai and
guarantee has long been expired. What is the actual PN so I can get it?
Thanks
Excellent video, just fixed my shifter on my ’06 Explorer. Thanks Dr. D.
