Hey guys, John here with Realtruck.com. Today I want to show you how to install the Spyder Projector Headlights on this 2012 Ford F150. Okay guys, we’ve got our lights out of the box. You can see here they come with everything you need to get them installed into the truck. All the wiring is here and I’m just going to show you guys how to wire it up for the truck, so let’s get these lights in this truck.

Okay guys, first thing we’re going to do now then is we’re going to get our headlight out of the truck. So, that’s really easy to do. All we’re going to do is just remove this, get it out of our way and then remove the bolts that hold our headlight in to here, one down here, we’ll get those out of here. Okay, once those are out, then we’re just going get a hold of our headlight here and give it a little tug and that will pop it out of the slot, and then we’re just going to get in behind it here and unplug it. And then once we have that, then what we’re going to do then is all these wires we have running here, we’re just going to snip these.

Now, if you don’t already have headlights like this in your truck, if you’re just running the factory stock ones you won’t have all theses wires. All you’re going to have is just this group right here to unplug and get out of the way. So guys, we’ve got our light prepped here ready to go. We’ve taken our old parking light bulb out of the old light and put it in this one, got everything prepped here and on the truck. 866-554-0581

So I just got a 2012 f150 with these lights installed. The clear coat across the projector area is already peeled and bubbled. 2ND they have hids installed but only on low beam. Highbeam is steal yellow halogen. I would like to change them both to a led do you have a suggestion of a bulb brand ?
