Frankie Esquivel says:

My keys were stolen. Do I need to have the key turned on the ignition in
order to remove/replace??

dmkaeding says:

Thanks for the information! Just replaced everything in about 15 minutes.

Gus Mashensic says:

Thanks guys! Just what I needed!!

1A Auto Parts says:

If you have a programmed key then you would need to have another one
programmed key for the vehicle.

1A Auto Parts says:

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to try to wiggle the key up and down as you try to turn the
ignition to see if it will turn for you.

Justin Hall says:

Very helpful thank you

0mcgl says:

Sparky Channel says:

Great video. I’m having the same trouble with my lock cylinder on my 98
Volvo V70. Do you sell the part?

1A Auto Parts says:

We sell new key lock cylinders on our website Part Number: 1AIMX00066 but
if you have lost the key you might have to have a local locksmith make a
new key for you.

1A Auto Parts says:

This video will show you how to repair it.
youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=j3I2oye8OpQ we also carry the

Krauser says:

I just replaced the Ignition Cylinder Lock, but the ranger thinks the key
is always open and it doesn’t turn on either. Thanks.

1A Auto Parts says:

it could possibly be not aligned correctly inside the lock cylinder.

1A Auto Parts says:

It might. If it still dings after you replace the ignition, it may be an
issue with the door jamb switch. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not carry this particular repair part for your 1998 V70
Volvo. Thank you for asking. At the current time we do not have a supplier
for them. Have a great day! 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

pirylocks says:

does the new key set have to be programmed to the fords computer?

1A Auto Parts says:

It was there from the factory. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

xXashtonXx8885 says:

How much will this cost me?

1A Auto Parts says:

It’s hard to say whether it could or not.

yorxs2 says:

Can you user your old keys with the new lock cylinder? I would hate to have
seperate keys for the door and the ignition.

1A Auto Parts says:

@fuckinshit27 The procedure should be the same.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows this particular
repair on your vehicle. We’ll keep this request in mind in the event that
we need to make this repair in the future.

Joseph Suarez says:

Will this work for my 1995 ford ranger? My ignition turns on the car but it
will not turn it off. It turns backwards pretty easy.

1A Auto Parts says:

Have you tried to replace the MAF sensor, that may help you out if the
issue seems to go away once you unplug it.

1A Auto Parts says:

You’re welcome. Have a great day. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Terry Stamper says:

I don’t have an engine light on, but when the van gets up to 40-45 it
starts to vibrates this goes away when I lightly tap the brake and and
continue to gas up this will continue when the speed levels off, I can
speed up with no problem but when I level off I get the vibration. I unplug
the MAF Sensor the van doesn’t do this but the engine light is on with
ocassonial engine stall. I’ve switched sensors with the same results, the
van seems to run better when the sensor is unplugged

fuckinshit27 says:

whats the procedure fora manual 94 ranger?

bghurk says:

Great video! Someone stole my car by ripping out the ignition lock. When
they did it, they broke the housing that the lock goes into. Do I have to
pull the steering wheel to access?

1A Auto Parts says:

The only thing you can do at this point is take your vehicle to someone to
have them replace the lock cylinder. Sometimes once they lock in place,
there is no way to remove them without completely taking the cylinder apart.

Idrissa Ekundayo says:

THANK YOU!!

zach wasil says:
