programmed key for the vehicle.

You may want to try to wiggle the key up and down as you try to turn the

We sell new key lock cylinders on our website Part Number: 1AIMX00066 but
if you have lost the key you might have to have a local locksmith make a
new key for you.

it could possibly be not aligned correctly inside the lock cylinder.
It might. If it still dings after you replace the ignition, it may be an
issue with the door jamb switch. Hope this helps you out.

Can you user your old keys with the new lock cylinder? I would hate to have
seperate keys for the door and the ignition.

Will this work for my 1995 ford ranger? My ignition turns on the car but it
will not turn it off. It turns backwards pretty easy.
Have you tried to replace the MAF sensor, that may help you out if the
issue seems to go away once you unplug it.

I don’t have an engine light on, but when the van gets up to 40-45 it
starts to vibrates this goes away when I lightly tap the brake and and
continue to gas up this will continue when the speed levels off, I can
speed up with no problem but when I level off I get the vibration. I unplug
the MAF Sensor the van doesn’t do this but the engine light is on with
ocassonial engine stall. I’ve switched sensors with the same results, the
van seems to run better when the sensor is unplugged

Great video! Someone stole my car by ripping out the ignition lock. When
they did it, they broke the housing that the lock goes into. Do I have to
pull the steering wheel to access?
The only thing you can do at this point is take your vehicle to someone to
have them replace the lock cylinder. Sometimes once they lock in place,
there is no way to remove them without completely taking the cylinder apart.
