The knob could be to hold the net in place, we do not carry them, you may
be able to find one in your local salvage yard. We do carry replacement
tail lights for your cars; if you need one for the 06 Taurus passengerside,

i just changed the bulb in my 04 ford taurus and the light is still not
working, what is wrong here?
well ehow.com wasn’t helpful. this was…so i am guessing the black plastic
piece that sits against the wall of the carpet is twist off too? that could
explain why the damn thing would’t come out. i accidently chipped a part of
the plastic on the lamp… will that cause problems or should it be okay?
The bulb should have a part number right on it so that you can replace it.

@1aauto I recently bought a new tail light for my 2003 Taurus, but it
didn’t come with the cord thingy that was seen in your video’s initial tail
light…?
This video made my simple DIY project a success! Thank You for being an
excellent source for quality replacement parts and education.
You may want to test the socket with a test light to see if there’s power
to the socket. If there’s no power to both headlights then you may want to
check the fuse first and if it’s good check the power to the switch.

Thanks so much for producing this video! After going nowhere on my own I
was finally able to replace the burnt taillight in my 2005 Taurus.
Everything was just like in the video.
Sometimes the tail light can get stuck to the body of the vehicle. You may
have to tap the studs poking through the trunk to get the light to break
free from the body.

looks simple enough… but i’m unable to pull the assembly out, like you
did it appears to be some how wedged in there…any suggestions?…the one
i have in there now is cracked…i have a replacement ready to snap in but
….lol btw my taurus is a 2007
That particular socket could be bad, also check the wires to the socket to
see if any ar broken or frayed.

@BigBend2012 It should be okay as long as the lens is still sealed.
A little different for my ’98 Taurus but the video helped. Mike does a
super job with these videos. Very simple, straightforward, easy to follow.
The parts they sell are as good as OEM…better…because they’re cheaper,

i have to replace my reversing light because it broke and now i don’t know

I removed all four of my bults from my dodge neon and twisted the to bulbs
out, but the taillight still will, not come out. What am I missing?
You should be able to remove it just as we did in the auto repair video.
