thanks I was having issues trying to figure how to do it the easy way! 5

1997 is a tough year for the F150s because they actually sold two different
style of headlights and corner lights. It all has to do with your vehicles
production date but we do sell both kinds. Feel free to give us a call at
(888)-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be. If you take the bulb out it will have a part number on it.

1A Auto Parts says:

@Goodwrench496 This video covers from 97-03. Your 2005 Ford Expedition
would be different in the way that it mounts. There should be two bolts on
top of the headlamp and possibly a third screw in the back of the lens that
holds it into place. Hope this helps you out.

Thanks from Western Canada!

Excellent! Thank you!

downtheshore says:

Great video, perfect for what I need to do with my 2000 Expedition. I need
to replace a headlight because the bulb became dislodged and melted the
plastic surrounding the bulb and headlight. Because of this, I need to
replace the bulb and headlight. Do I need to order the bulb and bulb
assembly separately?

cncryp says:

@4:20 showing inside clip , If you are lucky you might get it on in one try
without any hassle, headlamp covers view of slide insert clip.

odetomy says:

MeanStreak says:

great video, thanks for the step-by-step procedure! I’m about to go outside
and replace my 2003 F-150 headlights now.

Gerry O'Neil says:

Thanx! Worked just like in vid, did not have to remove my turn signal
lens…was done in about 5mins. Time was very important as it was only 12*
in Ohio on the day my bulb burnt out.

Adam Corria says:

This dosnt apply to the early 97 . They are easier to pull out but next to
impossable to find replacement

1A Auto Parts says:

@BOBBYDIESEL1000 At the current moment we do not have an auto repair video
of how to replace the fog lights in a 97-03 Ford Expedition.

would a ford 03 explorer light bulb be the same mach for a 97 expedition
light bulb? we have an extra light bulb for the explorer.

1A Auto Parts says:

@wjsurfdog The best way to adjust them is at night, with the vehicle about
25′ away from a wall or a garage door. When you turn the screws you’ll be
able to see which way the beam is going. Hope this helps you out.

downtheshore says:

Thanks again, I will definitely be placing an order

AfrikanInked says:

My expy is the same color!!Eddie bauer ftw

MeanStreak says:

Super simple, it actually took longer to watch this video than it did to
replace both headlights on my 2003 F-150. Knowing to put the little “stars”
into an X shape before trying to mount the lamps really helped. I didn’t
even need to remove the corner lamp. Thanks for another great video.

1A Auto Parts says:

@wjsurfdog There should be a couple of screws to turn on the backside of
the headlight to turn that will adjust the beam for you. Hope this helps
you out.

Just put SilverStar Ultra’s in my 99 F-150 Lariat, and I couldn’t get the
back tab (on both sides) to go back down. I didn’t know those plastic tabs
had to line up, along with the metal pins. Thanks for sharing! I’m going to
fix it tomorrow!
