Is it normal for the tensioner to move (like flex down and inward) when you
begin turning the wrench?

@quiet4no1 Just a silly question, did you try moving it both ways? You may
have been trying the wrong way. If it does not move then it could be frozen
up.

try a salvage yard.

I should twist the tensioner after I put the belt on?
@quiet4no1 Yeah, it should move with medium force. I’d say your tensioner
is kaput.
Hi I have a 1995 Ford Exployer 4.0L V6 engine and I just wanted to know
what size of serpintine belt is needed for this make of truck…and as well
how much is a idler pulley?

shows this particular repair. We’ll keep it in mind, in case we need to do

If you go to your local parts store, they sell a plastic T that you can put
in-line with your heater hose, and use a garden hose to flush it out. There
should also be directions on the back of the package.
Any chane we can get you to do a video on how to change the camshaft
position sensor sync shaft ??? Mine has the notorious squeeking and the
stealership wants $1000 to repair …. I have the 5.0 xlt 97 Anyways thanks
