ayanez04 says:

i have a 2002 f150 and when i drive on od on it feels like the transmission
is slipping but when i turn it off it works fine do you know what can be
wrong

briansmobile1 says:

@MrAnyheck Dang! Sounds awesome- where do you buy it?

shell dug says:

Great video. Just wondering if you checked to see if you have power to the
end of the gear shift. We have power right to the overdrive button but our
ov light and the overdrive are both not working. Also you had mentioned
about your idle fluctuation. We just replaced our pmd module and extended
it to the inside of the grill. It works great but that is a chev. We
thought our tranny was toast.

briansmobile1 says:

@fomoco300k You’re welcome- thank you!

MrAnyheck says:

Thinner is better for fine electronics work, but it gets more expensive
because of the manufacturing for the same mass of solder. I use .031 for
general work. You just have to feed more length into the joint if you use
thinner solder; same mass. I’ve seen a small spool at Radio Shack before
but it was quite expensive for a small amount 1.5 oz.

sotabound04 says:

WOW what a great video man! A fuse blows all the time with my OD off and I
was petrified of trying to fix it, however now, I feel a lot more
confident. You do a great job and keep em coming!Awesome that you also
addressed the tranny linkage being off on the column, however the video was
over, do you have a link to another video on that?

SuperchargedMustang5 says:

My granddads Lincoln mark7 with the4.6L shutter around 50 he replaced his
torque converter and that solved the problem

Murphys Luck says:

Interesting. Thank you!

briansmobile1 says:

@MrAnyheck Cool. Thanks.

briansmobile1 says:

@hp11208 No. I have to edit them together using the flip software. I bought
another Cyberlink Powerdirector software and it’s doing the same Codec
Activation problem as the other.

Gerry Jamieson says:

Great video Brian. When I least expect it, you teach me something new,
specifically the soldering technique thanks.

briansmobile1 says:

@sluggo98 You’re welcome! I love that you’re winning!

Justin Hall says:

WOW! My friends truck has been doing this for like 2 years and they’ve
dumped probably 3 grand into mechanics trying to figure out what is
wrong…It is definitely this.

DirTyOhGee says:

@briansmobile1 Nice one bro…I was stoked the first video you posted of
this truck only I about fainted when I seen the torn seat and dusty dash
board!!! Im starting to hate repairing trucks! (jk)

rusty10162 says:

great video you just showed me how to fix two problems with my 99
Expedition it has 250k miles on it so far

briansmobile1 says:

@scaldinghotcoffee Make sure the air bag is bag up on the bench! If it goes
off bag down the metal box becomes a bullet.

contagiousFX says:

who the heck cutted the wire to the OD?

briansmobile1 says:

@DirTyOhGee They’re just so fun to drive and haul stuff with. It’s worth
it. “There’s somethin women love about a pick up man!”

briansmobile1 says:

@DirTyOhGee Ha ha! I’ll have to tell the owner you said that. ; ) This one
runs like a champ now. I replaced all the coil boots and used dielectric
grease to get the same effect.

beefystik says:

I love yer soldering technique Brian. Gonna have to practice that one. Nice
fix too.

AdirondackNY says:

that was great

MotorCityPrepper says:

Ah, philosophy mixed in with an OD switch repair. Thanks for the best video

Great vid man! I use the same camera, flip minno hd. I like it so far. good
job on the repair. I had a 98 f150, 4.6 2wd xlt truck that I gave $500 buck
for from the original owner. It had 330,000 on it when I got it. I sold it
to a buddy, and it had 390,000 on it when he sold it…still goin strong,
a/c still workin, original engine, 380,000 miles on second tranny. I really
enjoy your videos, keep em coming.

briansmobile1 says:

@beefystik It can make a juggling act into a tame procedure. Thanks.

briansmobile1 says:

@epiphaknee Ha ha ha! Love it!

Jason White says:

would that problem cause a no overdrive situation? My wifes 2000 Expedition
5.4 liter is not shifting into overdrive. Any suggestions? Thanks for the
great videos, I always watch your ads all the way through, I hope it helps.
