I notice at 4.00 he's got a clear view to the strut top bolts. On mine I had to take the wipers and 2 plastic panels off to get to them….he doesn't mention that or it's a different model.

This is wrong. The shock bearing is facing the wrong direction. Spring is not properly seated in place. The knotch on the shock bearing should face in towards the car engine, ligning up with the metal part of the shock that goes into the knuckle. By not doing this correctly, it will cause premature wear on the bearing causing it to fail again. And just the fact that the spring is not seated correctly and its sitting crucked, is not safe….
