Dan Love says:

Your skills are amazing. Unleaky exhausts are boring. Time for a beer.

Alizar06 says:

How much different would this be for 1996 Mustang GT? Please make a video
for that one, i just got it and have leaky coolant 🙁 I’m a car amateur,
but this video was great, keep up the great work. Also, beer, lol.

Smigjo says:

Why the hell would you cut that connector? They’re made so you don’t have
to lol it probably took you longer to fix that than to just fiddle with it
until it came out, which you had to do anyways to put in the junkyard
intake.

Tom Jones says:

Yea,I am going to call this guy to fix my Ford

mitchel cooper says:

anyone know where the knock sensor is underneath of the intake manifold and
how many there are?

W1LLk1LLzYoU says:

plastic intake means the engine is 30 pounds lighter, it makes room for
bigger intake ports which means more horsepower

piratebob swenson says:

video is awesome man, post some more = )

iason papadopoulos says:

First thing is wrong is that he is not Bond James Bond and the opening is
complete wrong the rest of the video see ya later

Franker s says:

carlcarlandcarl says:

lmao when you cut the wire and said thats what electrical tape is for i
laughed so hard

Luis Lopez says:

Cool video man

SmokeRises says:

It’s the heater core hose.

Ray Moya says:

Hell yeah – bad ass video, bro lol

Jake Da Snake Productions says:

@ 1:13 that looked like a chip underneath the junkyard replacement one, but
yeah those plastic intake manifolds were the stupidest idea ever, all 4.6’s
after a certain year have em including my 96 & 98 Mustang GT’s.

PonyPower71 says:

I love Ford but I have to admit they were pretty stupid for making the
intake out of plastic. And just about every one I’ve seen has cracks
forming. Dafuq Ford?

lukethekanefan says:

u got a great deal

zephmont says:

Was out in the boonies and the closest parts store couldn’t get the part
for 2 days.

Mike Pasquariello says:

ive replaced one of these before

2pacnasgame says:

Lol these you tube videos

batmanjokergorden says:

question: 12:05-12:10 you have the throttle body there and their’s a hose
with a filter looking thing its attached to sticking up. What does that
hose and filter do? Is it a vacuum line?dad has a 99 town car and is trying
to figure out where to put that hose. It’s made of plastic too right? He
assumed to stick it where it looks like it goes…in the air tunnel going
into the intake. But when he sticks it in there, the car starts smoking a
little.Motor Runs ok, but misses a little at idle.

Austin Bonner says:

Thank you Zephmont for showing this video on how to change and intake. Mine
broke almost in the same spot as yours and leaked my coolant. Thanks to
you, I have a good running engine With a new intake manifold. Keep up the
good work on making videos like this, God Bless.

Steven Lebbing says:

well with the link in the ex it sounds a lot better it sounds like a V8
should!

FixFalcon says:

You look like you’re from India, but you sound like you’re from northern
Minnesota…

Adrian felix says:

IS THIS THE SAME INTAKE AS THE CROWN VICTORIA POLICE INTERCEPTOR YEAR
2000???????????/

kronicskater321 says:

8:14 LMFAO that made me laugh bro… that’s what they make electrical tape
for hahahhaa

talfacprez says:

What was FORD thinking making the intake out of plastic??? New ones are
over $400.00…oh wait..I guess they made it out of plastic so you would
have to support Ford even more. At least the new ones have metal
reinforcement strips in them. Good thing you found an alternate way to get
a replacement.

SmokeRises says:

If ever you have to remove the intake and the coolant hoses are old this is
a good time to replace the hose you see running above the leaves and debris.

coontbtb says:

californication

Nabataku says:

i liked this replacement vid, what did you cut from the manifold with those
dikes?

noel1553 says:

Like a dumbass Ive been trying to disconnect the fuel line to the fuel
rails..and after watching this I realized I can just leave it connected and
put the rails aside, thanks lol

carlcarlandcarl says:

don’t use grease could clog the injectors just dip the o-rings in gasoline

Jack Uff says:

2001 & 2002 models are unique. 1998 – 2000 are the same.

Fxr1212 says:

sadly its not just ford doin it

drewboydrummer11 says:

ford rocks man

TiMthisIS says:

Ugh, that’s not such a nice one. Looks like the failure in design number 2
from Ford because that back coolant tube for the heater core is metal
shoved into the plastic intake. That fails at a high rate too which is why
I changed mine. Got a used Dorman from the junkyard that the back tube is
plastic and the has the metal up front.
