I did a heater core job in an old work truck before. I cut the dashboard in
half to get to the core. It made it a LOT easier. You don’t even have to
mess with the driver’s side.

Hey dr jake just to let u know i had one back and split in 15 min by myself
once a guy change the core for the customer (left out 28 screws the guy
said) haha n the blend door was under the seat oops still no heat lol. I
got him fixed up though only had to drop the column n take out 5 screws or
so in the dash removed itself
after watching your video I can see why realfixsrealfast has so many hits
for the same repair. Your video is pathetic. Why not just rip out the dash
with a hammer or go to JC Whitney and slap a Desert heater under it.

ok, so aside from the mess on the interior from anti freeze and grease
(plus its kinda dangerous to mess w the air bag while the batt is hooked
up) I was impressed. Lets say it takes 3x as long to install the new one
and hook it up under the hood… one hour job, $100 part… how much will
you charge me to change my 2001 f150 heater core? every shop I go to wants
nearly $500

,,,,they last three months,,,,,,,i ain’t pay no 600 bucks ,,,,,be careful

the assembly line at ktp (f250-f550) for 15 years and if the speed makes
you nervous, don’t buy any mass produced vehicle. 85 brand new trucks an
hour, 18 hours a day, 5 days a week. lets see you do that jake 🙂
