Pull your heads out your asses and make trucks that cost less then a house, if the batteries fires keep happening then insurance will stop giving policy for them.
Fords had so many problems with the ev truck line. Its going to take a few years to work out the bugs .
Tesla had the same problems
Even toyota had some.
What youll see is toyota step up its game, and bring out a mini truck people can afford.
Almost every auto maker has lots full of cars and trucks they cant sell becuse the pricetag is just too dam much.
We need a under 20k truck.
Dont fall for it America! This electric push is nothing more than absolute control over the population.
EVs are dumb. Unless you drive under 50 miles per day, in warm climate, don’t travel, don’t tow, they are absolutely dumb.
Plus w their batteries aging, they decrease in value like crazy, and those batteries cost 20k to replace.

Thank you for shooting straight that ev fires are less likely than people think. It has actually been proven that the percent of gas cars that catch fire is higher per mile driven than electric cars. And that stat should help show gas cars in a better light by using per mile because they have driven so so many miles, but it doesnt. 19 car fires happen every hour in the United States.

Ford's folly
I sell Fords and have for quite a while. No body wants a Lightning. The last 4 ordered were not taken once they arrived. Not one person has ordered or tried to order one from scratch in 6 months. Ford has sold 20000 or so and filled this incredibly niche market already and now they’re ramping up to build 500,000 electric trucks a year? Ford is also trying to force dealers to spend $500,000 to $1,200,000 each to “allow” them to sell EV’s. By my math, that’s infinity years payback. I found an obscure journal on business that said something crazy. It said that “in business, you should actually produce and sell what customers want or are asking for.”
They also have a lot of experience in building environmentally friendly buildings. I think the engineers go to work just to play with their massive budgets instead of going to work to build quality products with good component quality control.
We trust you Scotty…. but we'll believe it when we see it.

Everything Toyota makes is more reliable and quality then ford
