R Morgan says:

Safety recalls are the new norm. Test subjects buy em and if there is a problem, gets reported through oasis. Techs gotta to figure it out as they are get paid little to work on their crap.

CarportCarl says:

Amen Scotty!

I am seeing this same behavior in the computer/technology industry. Company execs are being led by the nose either by force or choice to go Cloud, use excessive amounts of third party apps. They are truly losing control of their independence once the big 3-4 cloud companies corner the market in cloud and hardware.

AsadM107 says:

My dad used to buy only Nissan… the cars would break down early. His Pathfinder (one of their premium cars) had its transmission blow at 80k miles a few months ago despite good maintenance. I finally convinced him to buy any other brand, forget Nissan.

JC Journey says:

lol duct tape really fix everything these days.

mike a says:

Zilla Deliva says:

White and black people stop buying China made domestic ……..Scotty. funny thing a 2013 sonic in windsor ontario is selling for $13,000 with 88,000kms lol.

Randy Young says:

Toyota farms nosy of their parts out too Scotty what do you say about that! I know we supply the same parts to Ford, GM, Honda,Toyota, Nissan, Stellantis. Same machine same people make engine components for all of them! Tape holds all your cars trim on and it lasts 20+ years

John Kerruish says:

Hi Scotty, What exactly is wrong with a Nissan? My 2010 Juke seems pretty good, only done 38,000 miles, everything is working. I like your videos. I am in the UK.

My Jimmy would be hard to start after it gets warm. It was the spider fuel injector system. I replaced that with the upgraded fuel injection system and it fixed the issue.

David Blanco says:

Rushed to market, paying the price!

Ben Wee consult with says:

Steve. I can also had an issue with some of the YouTube creators. Particularily some like st****dman to be anonymous. Anyway. He needed a guidance on his channel. He always goes 100 MPH with metaphors. Can his channel include basic story line concepts? Hm. That will be a question. He wanted to get a good amount like scotty. 5M. Additionally. He had no way of the image iconic like the Scotty famous thumbnail point. Good day.

Christopher Ashcroft says:

Standard American car manufacturer practice. Put out a flawed vehicle, sell it anyway, then have the Dealerships fight not to fix it by denying warranty claims. Scotty is bang on with Nissan. I had an Altima with a manufacturing defect. Nissan said "talk to the dealer" the dealer said "talk to Nissan". 3 months to get it fixed, then they fudged the repair leaving me stranded during a blizzard. I will never buy another.

Lessons Tobe says:

I have a 2011 Subaru Legacy that overheated on a 100 degree day. I stopped the car and added coolant to the overflow container and waited ( but not for long) several times on my 30 mile trip home from work. I only drove when the warning light was off, but waiting 15 minutes at a time I supposed was not enough. I had the radiator, water pump, and timing belt replaced, a coolant system flush and oil change. The car ran fine for about 100 miles and then the warning light appeared again, This time I had the car towed to my mechanic. My mechanic had the car for two days and ran the engine for periods of time, took the car on several 20 mile trips but could not replicate the problem. Now I notice that my radiator overflow has bubbles and is overfilled. I have to wait over an hour for the car to cool down an siphon antifreeze from the overflow back into the radiator because the radiator fluid is low. No warning lights are coming on in the car but you can hear fluids moving around at times while driving. I cannot afford to have a head gasket replaced ( I already spent 200 dollars I didn't have on the initial repairs. I have to work which is 32 miles each way from my home. There is no public transportation and I live in a rural area that is having a very hot summer. Does anyone have any suggestions? S0rry to ramble on but the situation is giving me a lot of stress!

J.T. says:

Still the same old FORD(FIX OR REPAIR DAILY, FOUND ON ROAD DEAD)!!! Take your pick!!! But, EV's will save everything!!! Screw EV's!!!

Stephen Cho says:

I love that pringles air duct

Quantum Questions says:

Thank you for the heads up

Thomas Peacock says:

Scotty, I have to take issue with one of your Shorts clips. The one about car color and insurance. When I lived within the City and County of Denver, CO, I registered a red (Basque Red Pearl) Honda Accord with the local DMV. Near the end of the process, I was asked what color the Accord was. When I said “red” the clerk took back the receipt and recalculated the licensing fees. I Was charged more for licensing a 6 year old Honda Accord 4Dr 2.4L painted Basque Red Pearl. About $15 more. It’s not the dollar amount that angers people, it’s the prejudice.

jerster says:

Consumer reports is biased. Id rather listen to a mechanic like Scotty.
