All these automotive companies are taking "cost cutting measures" yet they're still charging ridiculous prices for their vehicles.
The quality in the newer cars is getting worse and worse from all the cheap 'innovative' tech. That's the exact reason why I love my 05 Subaru Forester. It's simple. I put a radio and sub in. Analog guages minus odometer. Manual seats. Manual transmission. Everything is simple. Its a great car to drive. Unlike traveling in these newer vehicles. They don't even feel like cars anymore
I PISSED at FORD. I've had NOTHING but trouble with my late model f150. Motor I've had to have replaced and the shift cable keeps breaking. Ford CLEARLY doesn't care anymore. For the 1st time ever im actually going to stop buying Fords. I can't afford their laziness and crap they keep putting out. They don't care so why should i? Ill never buy another Ford again. Hell I've better luck with my Toyota!
All the stuff I've heard about the new broncos are junk if you want a new bronco order run without the money and the transmission get it home put your own motor your own transmission in it and maybe you'll have a decent bronco other than that they're junk
And that's why I bought a used Toyota FJ Cruiser instead of waiting months for one of those "Found On Road Dead" Broncos
Ha ha! I love it, I love it, I love it, I love it! I'm NEVER buying an American car or truck, period! Japanese and European all the way! Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda (obviously, not every car model they make is reliable, but I'm all about reliability and fuel efficiency more than anything).
This man is a blessing.
My 2002 F150 5.4 just crested 200,000 miles. Not the most powerful or efficient power plant, but still runs smooth and trouble free. Hopefully the Bronco power plant will get sorted out……
My understanding is that ford outsourced some valves to a third party vendor and they had a casting issue and the valves blew up. Like scotty says trying to make things cheaper for more profit sometimes backfires spectacularly. I would like to know how much ford is spending to fix each engine.
