This fix will work for all vehicles symptomatic of DTC PO471. For vehicles displaying other codes in addition to PO471, you may have other issues that will require further diagnosis.
After completion of this fix, your vehicle may display the DTC for a given time. However, a few start and stop cycles should clear the code.
