Heading off to watch your Toyota vid on the paid channel – I had a fun one on my 06 Tundra, want to see what you learned.

Glad to see you use the new Ventus smoke machine. It retails for $199 and is available for purchase on Autoline Pro's website. I was able to pre-order it, so I got it at a lower price. I can't wait to try it out. Great explanation on how that sensor worked and how you were able to know that the wiring to the sensor was good.

I gotta have that box!!!!!

Nice crisp diag. And your preemptive response to viewer concerns was a lot more compassionate than in the past. Mocking people in a pseudo-ret**ded voice never helped anyone so thanks. Also those wheels were the OEM alloys. Nice Danger Ranger.

Carnivore Bear says:

Good call and an efficient diagnosis. Only thing I probably would've done extra before the call is seeing if you could find a specs on the sensor online, for most potentiometer based sensors I've found you can usually find pretty good specs on ranges of values and what resistances they correlate to, as well as total resistance across 5v and GROUND pins.

That said, I'm only usually working on one car a day!

mike sabin says:

Somewhere out there, one of your listeners is sitting back and smiling with glee that you didn’t check ground at the sensor first
