Ford F150 washer line frozen DIY fix (2015 – 2018)

My 2015 Ford F-150 windshield washer lines were getting frozen every time the temperature dropped below the freezing point. After some research online I discovered the issue. This video will show you how to quickly repair this issue by drilling out the small check valve in the windshield washer lines, which turned out to be the cause of the problem.

Please like/share/comment if this helped you out. Thanks!

Thank you for posting this! I just bought a new pump but might just try this mod first! My F150 has been a nightmare to drive and I even poured a bottle of rubbing alcohol into the reservoir to try to keep it from freezing but it still wasn't working. Awesome video!

Damn. They must have taken that check valve off the 2018+. I don’t have one on my fluid line and something is still freezing up. Ugh.

Dude you are awesome…. I just went to dealer today and walked out when they told me it would be $100 for the new updated fluid lines and they still couldn't guarantee it would fix the issue. I did your fix and in less than 2min I was spraying like normal again! It's been -5 degrees the past few days and I have not had working sprayers for over a week, and this has fixed the problem. Sooooooo easy, THANKS!

Man! What a life saver you are. I tried all different fluids, boosters, everything. I’m getting ready to go on an 8 hour drive Thursday and the temps are in the 5-15 degree range right now. I also drive hour one way a day for work. I’ve been devastated about no sprayers. Your modification has worked flawless!! Thank you a ton. I’ve had my 15 F150 two months and this made me so mad at it. You’re a lifesaver. Thank ya sir for taking your time to post this. Perfect video
