Horrible instructions.

FrustratedNameSearch says:

Step 1. Let Dealer do it for $19.95 🙂

FrustratedNameSearch says:

I like $19.99 better 🙂 In fact, I get full oil change service, rotation,
and hand wash/wax and interior clean for $99. Nice package.

Guess its time to get in the zone!

John Fichtner says:

That’s pretty bad. You say to put the drain pan under the oil filter and
drain spout but you say to pull the oil filter and then fill it up w/oil.
You completely missed draining the trucks oil. If someone actually followed
your instructions, they would end up with 11 quarts of oil in their truck
and blowing it up. OMG please remove this video

I don’t know where you’re getting your prices, but they are way off. The
Motorcraft 5W-30 Synthetic Blend motor oil is $5.49 a quart at AutoZone
$5.49 X 6 = $32.94. The Motorcraft FL500S oil filter is $5.99 at AutoZone.
$32.94 + $5.99 = $38.93. It’s about $40.00 for a complete oil change, not
$55.00. The price would be even cheaper if you bought the oil and filter at
Walmart.

@FrustratedNameSearch Or for free 😉

David Contreras says:

humm over here were i live they charge me 45$ at the Dealer ship but in
other places they charge up to 80$ bcz its an Ecoboost

Drftmatters says:

It will cost $55 to do this yourself at your home or shop. Motorcraft 5w-30
6 qts.=7.99/qt. Motorcraft FL500s oil filter = $7.42 7.99×6= $47.94+7.42=
$55.36 I would suggest using the Motorcraft 5w-30 synth. oil that Ford
uses, as well as the proper Motorcraft FL500s oil filter. Always owners
choice, but if you can find it use it. Happy Hauling!
