WOW~!!! "Get in there and clean it up really well." Well~!!!! Not the word good~!!!! Somebody was paying attention in high school~!! Kudos~!!! You like the Oring seal better than the press-fit with locktite 609??

Clu Hendrix says:

Where can I find the block to frame ground? 2004 4.6l f150

Robert Irwin says:

Hi there. Do your kit come with two bolts and a bushing? I didn’t hear you explain about those if thy were included. Thx

ess2586 says:

Great video, commentary and editing! Thanks for this!

Aaron Marsh says:

Do you not need to worry about the grit from cleaning the rust off going into the opening once the cover is removed?

Richard Brewin says:

For a $30 part you think that the factory would just install it . Even if you didn’t need it just don’t hook up the plug

Steven N says:

Is there a link to the OEM block heater you mentioned that would be even better?

Fresh Caught Fools says:

how much coolant and water did you need to refill it approximately?

Mike Blake says:

Is this the same install for a 1993 F450 7.3 Diesel IDI

Jim Bronson says:

Removing that 8mm hex seems like a good way to speed up a flush, by removing all the coolant in the block.

Robert Belanger says:

Your videos are great but cut wire tie tags flush with flush cutters to keep you or somebody else from having to apply a band aid.

clasicradiolover says:

That truck needs rust removal and wash some salt off.

Chris says:

Does this also apply to the 6.8 V10?

David Colin Stillman says:

OH !
260,000 MILES ONE OWNER & AMSOIL EVERYTHING !

David Colin Stillman says:

HI BRIAN !
I HAVE A 1999 F150 XLT 4.6L EXTENDED CAB 4×4 . I GUESS IT'S THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE HEATER HOSE WAS SLOWLY DRIPPING / NOT ENOUGH TO SHOW UP UNDER THE TRUCK BUT ENOUGH TO FILL THE #4 CYLINDER SPARK PLUG AREA & I GUESS INTERRUPT THE SPARK ? ANYWAY WE TRYED TO TAKE IT OFF / WATCHED A COUPLE YOUTUBE VIDEOS TO SEE HOW IT IS TAKEN OFF . TRIED PRESSING THE TABS & PUSH THE HOSE TOWARDS THE FIREWALL & THEN PULL THE HOSE BACK TOWARDS ME . WHEN I DID THAT THE PLASTIC SECTION SEPARATE FROM THE RUBBER HOSE PART & STAYED ON THE HEATER CORE NIPPLE ? IS THE HEATER CORE NIPPLE MADE OUT OF METAL ? COULD I USE A RAZOR BLADE KNIFE TO CUT THE PLASTIC & PUT THE NEW FORD HEATER HOSE ON ? WHY DIDN'T FORD USE REGULAR HOSE CLAMPS ! IT WOULD OF BEEN FIXED ALREADY.
AND FOR THE PEANUT GALLERY ALL MAKES & MODELS DO THE SAME DUMB – ! HOPE TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU . BE SAFE ! HAVE FUN ! GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS ! LUV YOUR VIDEOS ! THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME / US TAG A LONG WITH YOU ON YOUR VIDEOS ! ENJOYED !

I will say this! Just tried to install one using a regular 8mm allen wrench. Good luck! Buy the 10 dollar set and save yourself from trying to do this by hand. You can’t! That plug is “in” there!!

allen rodon says:

Let me start off by saying I live in Florida and have lived in Florida my whole life I know about block heaters in diesel motors but this is the 1st time I ever heard they actually used them in gas motors as well lol
