That was our exact problem on my son’s ’96 Explorer. Key fob would unlock
the vehicle but wouldn’t lock it. Found your video and did everything they
way you explained. Our problem is solved! Thank you very much for taking
the time to make this video. You helped us fix a big annoyance.
It was awesome. I did not try my 1998 ford explorer, which has same
problem. Hope it will work out for me.
Know i just have to see if that is the problem with mying none of my doors
locks on either side by pressing the button but will work in the rear . i
get the same thing when i press the key fab to lock them the horn goes off.
and when i do have them lock by the back switch and unlock them with the
key fab they unlock ok.
