what can i do if the tools that go in the two holes on the side of the
radio dont go in alll the way?, i have an 02 and one side clicks in and
takes out that side and the other one wont click in
I do not own one, but where I work there is a Focus in the fleet, 5+ years
old with 90k+ miles and it is relatively trouble free. Every knucklehead
that can draw a key drives it. I find it to be a cheapened version of an
Escort, to make it affordable. Perhaps someday I will have to own one, when
Escorts are no longer available. Thanks for posting your vid.
i have a 95 ford escort and i am replacing the factory radio. The radio
comes out separately from the climate control buttons. I am only having
trouble pulling the radio out all the way. i wouldnt think that the wires
are too short, are they?
Oh no, I think we may have broken my car. I have a 99 and we didn’t unplug
the heater control cable, then we pulled out the radio and we hear a snap,
and now i CANNOT get that thing unplugged! The black tab thing snapped off,
so I don’t know what to do. Please help
what are thos tools that you use to take out the radio and where can i get
them?? i thave this car and i wanna take the radio out and put a new one,
plz help

I like delsydsoftware started watching because of Saturns but all your
videos are awesome. I always look forward to what is next. These radio
removal videos I’m sure are very helpful to a lot of people. They make it
quite tricky to take out a radio these days.

Thanks for this video. You have helped me in a number of areas. Radio
being installed this week.
Anyone else still doing this, I found if you use a cut coat hanger and
insert the cut ends into the four holes this acts like the special tool.

You might be able to use a small screwdriver or pick to release that cable.

There are wires for the fan on the back of this unit.Make sure all the pins
in the connectors are not bent and seated correctly.
