Was wondering if this would work on a used ficm, I need to change mine and got one off an older truck I had, my main question is if it's used does it still not require programming
This process seems so easy and it's much more cost effective, is there a reason everyone doesn't go this route vs replacing the whole assembly?
will a FICM pulled off a 2006 PowerStroke work on a 2004 PowerStroke as a replacement
I'm thinking about doing this to my '06. I noticed at the end of the video after the repair the truck still took some time to crank over and then fire. About the same amount of time mine does now. Is that normal or should it start up right away?
Is this process the same for a 2003 model?
how you know its bath pc
ficm repaired truck start n runs fine. turn truck off and it want start back. ficm to hot to touch.once cool off truck starts and runs fine.what can cause this problem?

Thanks for the help. Worked great. Saved a lot of time and money.
Thanks for this video.
I like the fact that you has some smudges on your hands. Shows that you really did the work. Keep up the videos. I enjoy them.
What does a 2003 ficm has for screws ?
what his the name of the pc software?
Does the board on the back plate ever go out?
Great video, thank you for taking the time to do this!
My truck is a 7 terminal, and my local auto parts stores only see a 4 terminal board available. Do I have to upgrade the entire FICM, or can I find this 7 terminal board somewhere?
Thanks again for your help!
Where can I buy this replacement?
