Does this apply to the 10 gen?
Alguien me puede pasar el torque de los tornillos de los variables
I can tell you that's the wrong way to do it cuz the only way to slide them rockers back in is to loosen the cam up and it messes up the cam journals in the cans will bind that's what happens it's a good way to ruin ruin the heads
What size cams would be a good fit to give it a good lope and better performance and pulling power. Will roller set up work well and why don't they tell you that you have to change this at around 120, 000. I actually made it to 152,000 but how will i know if have trashed the motor the oil pressure dropped to 0. I would greatly appreciate any advice you or anyone can give me. And should I get a high performance oil pump. And what else can i do to up the horse power i had a 2018 and 2020 now after doing a few things to thenm i had them at around 415 horsepower they come from the factory supposedly with 395. I love them. Please help
I have a 4.6L 3v mustang, I'm rebuilding the motor, first actual rebuild I'm doing. I've worked with the 3v before and messed up the timing. Is this all you have to do?? Many people have told me to make sure I have the pistons in the right location+key on the crankshaft. Something that has to do with the normal stroke and power stroke. I ended up with low compression last time. Could you help explain why a bad timing job would give me low compression, and if the pistons have to be in a certain orientation for allighnment with a normal stroke and power stroke?
I've said this before. This man is a master what's Ford modular motors, great mechanic he was in my he would do my stuff if I had enough money where I don't have to do it myself
Man. You can my money any time you want it. You are the truth. I Don't work on them I just pay for it. If I wasn't good at what I do already. I would be making a career change as much as I have spent on this exact truck.
Ford has finally put out a timing kit part# 4l3z6306A
Do you put #1 cylinder to tdc?
Me and my son just fixed his 05 ford f150 fx4 with the 5.4 lthanks to you and your video I appreciate you doing this
I’ve watched several of your videos and they are very helpful but I still don’t understand how you put the cam followers back in after you put the timing chains on
Es a las 11 o a las 12 ??
In desperate need of information! Can I use a flex fuel 5.4 in a non flex fuel F150?
what if I cant remove the front cover.. how can I use the mark on the damper to time it correctly?
Had to replace the timing guides on mine (2006 Ford F-150 5.4L 3V 4×4). We got the Left side of the engine & chain set correctly, however, whenever we do the right side we run into this problem:
The R on the right side isn’t lined in the same position the L is, and whenever we rotate the cam it rotates the camshaft and causes it to jump. So we don’t turn it that far, but when we get the chain on and let it go back, the bottom skips. Chain isn’t stretched and crank gear thing isn’t damaged either. Any tips?
Do u have a video of taking the rollers out
My buddy took his chain off before setting it in the 6 o clock position do I just turn the crank to the six o clock position and then follow the rest of the information in the video
