Nice Job mate. It's nice to have it up on the ramp, the only welding I've done on sills and underneath, cars always been up on drive up floor ramps and I've been lying on my side. I always keep a co2 fire extinguisher that I use to put the fires out that seem to always start.

What about welding proof primer

@humourless682 says:

Hope you dont do MOT welding commercially? Messing around with spanners, isnt a great idea, as it takes a good deal more time, for no clear purpose whatever.

@dukwdriver2909 says:

Guess you never wondered why your hammer has a rounded head also.

@jamesward5721 says:

Does that even really count as "Transit" rust?

Really enjoyed the video bought back some good memories of welding with my dad a Morris Marina in the mid 80s I was in my early 20s at the time. Ended up getting arc- eyes it was not a pleasant experience at the time. Its amazing how all the equipment has improved since then. The southampton produced transit must have been dripped in the solent before they were painted.

@Ma-fh9on says:

Far too good a repair for a bucket of shite transit

@pauljeffreys9984 says:

Hope your back gets better soon Leon
