Bullshitkorner says:

it could be possible, that same socket actually works on the BMW E46 oil cap

cheyennerafterq says:

Do you know if that socket you bought has the same application on a 7.3L ? Thanks for the vid!

Bullshitkorner says:

changing the fuel filter is really easy, shouldn’t take more than 1/2 to a hour max the first time

Bullshitkorner says:

ya our prices are way higher for some stupid reason

obed2077 says:

Id hate to live in canada my filters are 65 bucks not 120

Bullshitkorner says:

i don’t have my diesel anymore otherwise id see if they were the same cap, my powerstroke socket is the same for the bmw to remove the caps though

Oscar's BMW & VW says:

I was amazed the first time I saw those Ford Diesel filter housings and how identical they look to the BMW oil filter housing. LOL@ “Don’t Huff It”

Bullshitkorner says:

from which filter the one up top where the engine is or the water separator down below. if your getting air something isn’t sealed or something maybe plugged

Kenneth Irwin says:

Cool video, thanks! I have a 6.0 powerstroke and I keep getting air in the line and it wont start. I have to remove the cap from where the filter is, release the air and then it will start. Any idea why that’s happening?

Bullshitkorner says:

don’t be fooled this truck was the biggest lemon i’ve ever owned it was in the shop for warranty work every other month

vannofication says:

wow 193,704 miles and still runs.. nice

demcburney says:

Good video, thank you. Just don’t fuckin drink or huff the fuckin diesel!

jafruech says:

Thanks man…great video. I just wish I had ordered the socket off ebay. Crescent wrench and pliers just don’t work as well lol. Thank you again.

Bullshitkorner says:

could be a few things, the sensor could be faulty or you may really have water in your fuel. how does the truck run ? sometimes you have to purge the diesel out of the drain a few times to get all the water out depending on how much water there really is in the fuel

UnleashedDomo says:

I did the changes. The light still comes on with water in fuel line. Is there a reset button for the indicator or should I run the truck until theres no more fuel and change the filters again.

Chris Pasteur says:

Same here…Just bough an 06 F250, but somehow the “One Owner” managed to lose all of the manuals.

stihldrummer9521 says:

Great video!!! If I could also some advice, I too begin with replacing the top filter first. But do NOT place the cap back on until I’m finished with the bottom filter. (Suction prevents proper drainage). Dealing with the lower filter, I found out by simply removing the 4X4 drive shaft, (only 4 small bolts) I was able to just swing it to the side and lay it on the cross member of the frame which ables me to use a simple wrench to get the cap off. WTF was Ford thinkin.

1patrat says:

Thanks a bunch,I needed this…Funny video”don’t drink the diesel”thats classic…

Great video on changing the fuel and water separator on an Ford F250 6.0L engine. Very helpful. I guess this guy’s avatar name will give you an idea how many F@*% you will hear throughout the video. Otherwise – well done.
