Jeannette, do you mean you have two trucks? Or are you asking if you need
to install this in both phasers? If two trucks are what you are referring
to, then you need 2 complete kits. If you are asking about if you need to
install the lockouts into both phasers of one truck, the answer is yes.
can the tuner be used more than 1 time? I sale used cars and have the same
problem very often with the 5.4 engines
What if I add the tune without the lockouts? Boom?? yes no?
So If I was to get the ford racing hot rod cam would I need to lockout the
cam to keep good clearances

Do i need your tuner. Or could i install and have ford dealership reprogram
for me ? Or can i use any other performance tuner for my truck. I have a

phaser noise on my 05 expedition runs perfectly smooth lots of power just
the noise gets on my nerves
Very good video. I noticed that you did not remove any of the valve
springs. I think the ford manual requires that 2 valve springs be removed
to keep the cam from spinning once the phaser is removed. I guess when you
put the phaser back on you can spin the cam back to where it should be by
aligning to your mark.
Is there any tuneing to go along with this I have a 3v 5.4 with a banks
tuner can I run the lock out with my banks tuner
Can the handheld tuner be used to tune other things or does it only work
for the VCT system?
As a Repair garage, We have several costumers with this problem. Would we
need to by a kit for each vehicle or just extra blocks and bolts. Is the
programmer set to each vehicle.

Please tell me what is the sole purpose of this cuz you know what the cam
phaser to basically the readjust the engine in all sorts of ways that you
don’t even know about they’re basically a way to bypass an EGR valve.

What is the advantage of locking this please? I assume its the same kind of
thing as the variable valve timing on a Focus SVT?
