I’m happy, mine starts within 3 seconds but is a bit jerky as I start
rolling until the engine gets to top temperature. My fuel mileage is
great. I enjoyed this video.

Chad DeCiantis says:

Ron you’re a diesel god. I wish you were my neighbor

tracker61 says:

Yeah now show us the hard side.

QWERTYace951 says:

Awesome video, how similar is this to doing the 7.3 power stroke?

JUDGERAMBO says:

Nice thinking with the chisel.

Gix1k4 says:

Thanks for the video, it was a HUGE help. There is one thing that I’d like
to mention that might be of help to others doing this job. It seems that
after having the high pressure oil system open it takes a fair amount of
time for the long crank issue to clear itself out. I had my truck apart 3
or 4 times and was pulling my hair out because after the injector swap it
had a 10-15 second crank time. A google search showed many hits stating
that a long crank was common after the oil system open.

Denkha94 says:

thank you very much Ron your videos are very helpful thank you.

Denkha94 says:

Hi their, what was the symptom of your #2 injector? I have a p0276 cylinder
#6 injector circuit low. when I am driving down the road the rpm gets a
little high then it kinda revs it self, while I am just holding the
accelerator steady. when i am on a stop it little bit idles high and then
immediately returns to low idle acts like its going to stall but not. thank
you.

darkhorse1100 says:

Hey!How long should it take to replace injectors on a 05 ?Thanks!

sorta nice says:

i like that milwakee rachet

Ric O says:

Why just replacing 2,8,3,5 injectors? Great Video

sixohdieselrage says:

Great video! How do you turn it over by hand though?

DieselTechRon says:

I’ve tried hotshot and rev-x I’ve had better luck with rev-x. They really
help if its sticking from varnish not wear. If you lacked maintenance on
your fuel filters and the pressure dropped then the fuel cavity is only
partially full. That causes less resistance and the oil side will beat that
plunger into the injector. Fuel pressure is critical. I’ve seen brand new
injectors fail in 200 miles due to low pressure UNDER A LOAD NOT AT IDLE.

“You’re gonna be hating life” I got news for ya, if you own a 6.0, you
already hate life. LoL

shanezxt1 says:

Thanks a lot for this video. It helped me a ton last night changing #2.

aaffordableauto1 says:

YOU DONE A PERFECT JOB. OTHER THAN,I USE BLUE LOCKTITE ON THE INJECTOR
BOLTS. THE REASON IS WHEN YOU HAVE A PROGRAMMER INSTALLED, IT RAISES THE
PRESURE. I ALLWAYS TORQUE THE INJECTER BOLTS BUT I HAVE HAD SOME COME
LOSE.THATS WHAT THE LOCKTITE IS FOR. THE NEXT THING IS ON THE INJECTOR PLUG
IN THE HEAD. A PRESURE REGULATOR SLEEVE OUT OF A GM 4L80 TRANSMISSION WORK
BETTER THAN THE TOOL MADE FOR THE JOB. AND MOST TRANS SHOPS WILL GIVE YOU
ONE. ILL SEND SNAP-ON BY SO YOU CAN GET THE RIGHT TOOL. LOL

shanezxt1 says:

I had much different symptoms than that. I pulled the P0266 code for
contribution of cylinder 2. I was puffing black smoke in all conditions and
could feel the miss. I was a bit intimidated when I began taking things
apart to change the injector. by the time I was finished, I was glad I did
it myself and will do any other work myself as well.

cnrails says:

What should fuel pressure be? I just bought an 06 f250 and I would like to
monitor fuel pressure from my auto engineuity scantool if possible.

video,im changing my injectors pretty soon.

cbsgirly2 says:

Great video…Thanks….Have you ever heard of the line of products by
HOTSHOT and do you recommend it? Would changing the oil & filter every 2500
miles instead of 5000miles help or be a waste? My truck is a 2004 f350 with
138,000 miles. Thank You!!
