Do you have to do all this to level the rake also?
What height did you set it to? I've heard 2" is a good middleground.
What did you torque your cv axel nut to?
Just a little mechanics advice for anyone looking to do this. When you're trying to get the axle shaft out of the hub on the front wheels, DO NOT strike it directly with a hammer. You'll run the risk of damaging the threads on the end of your axle shaft. You can use a dead blow hammer or a brass drift or something that won't damage the shaft. Not trying to flame this guy but whacking things with a hammer, sometimes, is a mechanic no no. There are other means to apply force to get parts to come free.
Doing this to my truck this weekend, thanks for the how-to video! Very helpful. Better than the stage3 videos.
Way to much work. Use a pry bar and it takes 15 minutes per side. Align and go. Adjust lights with screwdriver or fingers. Using Phillips turn clockwise for down. Using fingers on gear counterclockwise for down.
NeumAticos whatsp number som de la ford ranger del video
Did you reuse all the nuts or did you replace them? I’m torn between reusing them and replacing them but don’t see why I should replace them or not?
@Harles Garage did you have to go back to the dealer to recalibrate adaptive cruise control sensor thing after you installed your leveling kit?
Where does the axle nut go
Did you have to adjust the cruise control radar and re adjust the headlights after installing this kit?
how did you adjust the height?
What did you torque the axle nut to? specs? I just ordered my Fox 2.0 kit from Stage 3 Motorsports and they said it will be here on the 25th.
Having the Fox 2.0 stage 1 kit installed at Ford this week. I have the same black wheels and Hankook tires as you, but the Stage 1 Performance package comes with the 17" Dyno Grey wheels. I'm wrapping 265/70 R17 BFG KO2s on them. 1" bigger more aggressive tire and 1" smaller wheel, and that should complete the look with the level stance.
Did you sell your fx4 suspensions ?
Great tutorial! What's the advantages of this kit?
Great! it serves in ford ranger 2017?
can you plzzzz do a video on how to take the front bumper off so i can crash bars off without cutting them
Think this is a good idea for a non 4×4 or should I just get a level kit
An install like this wont effect your warranty and your insurance policy…right???
Does this void any warranty ?
Great video thanks. I won’t be beating the truck up , although i will take it slow in rough terain one week out of a year Hunting. Not sure if the money and difference is worth it? What do you think..?
Will this work with 2wd 19-20 ranger?
Why not use a strut compresor? Will the shock not compress enough to remove it?
Great video, such details and flow step by step. I'll be installing mine tomorrow. Thanks again. #RangerFX4
