Welcome back to another vehicle how to! Only this time it was completely unexpected. My mother in law needed a battery put in her 2020 Ford Escape and O’Reillys told her that “professional installation” was needed. Never in my life did I think changing a battery would take more than a a 10mm socket but Ford really wants to take your money! Hopefully this video will save you $100 bucks and you’ll be on your way!

All i see is potential for an aftermarket company to make a battery tray with covenantal straps to make this easy in the future
I have this exact car in my story was the exact same as yours, the O’Reilly’s conversation and everything! Now I am highly considering getting rid of this vehicle just because of how hard it is to get the battery out lol
