That just shows how little GP2 I watch, both present and the past 😛 lol.
But thanks for the clarification! He could be in with a shout, it’s very
difficult for reserves to get drives these days compared to the past,
unless something happens to one of the two drivers and has to sit out for a
few races, then the reserve gets brought in. Bit of a shame really,
especially for the top teams as it makes reserves near enough redundant
completely in race weekend situations.
And neither was he a fair player in the 5 or 6 races I did before and after
this one. It’s a shame people race like that with nothing to provoke it,
especially when trying to go past as cleanly and fairly as possible.
I agree, someone told me earlier today they doubted Di Resta would get a
drive next year. I think he will based entirely on his first half
performance. He’s just on a bad run!

You didn’t even mention Di Resta for Lotus. I think he’s one of the most
talented drivers not currently in a top team. He’s had an enormous amount
of bad luck this year, and despite that has pulled out results and had some
magnificent drives! I don’t think the mistakes at Monza helped him 😛 but
other than that, I think he’s got more from the car available to him
consistently than Hulkenberg has.
Massa definitely deserves to stay in F1 at least. I’m just a fan of Di
Resta, and think it’s a shame that he’s not got a top drive yet! He should
within the next few years

Do you think lewis hamilton is out of the title race
Valsecchi isn’t in GP2 anymore because he’s last year’s GP2 champion (you
aren’t aloud back in for 1 year after winning), and he’s the reserve driver
for Lotus, that’s why I was curious if you thought he had a chance. But I
agree that I hope it’s Hulkenberg, I think he would win races in a Lotus,
and him and Grosjean are very “up-and-coming” drivers in F1. And yes GP2
can get a bit messy at times… but I’ve quite enjoyed it this year! I
don’t bother with practice/qualy, straight for races 😛
I want Massa to go to Sauber! Although it’s a lower end team, his
experience, knowledge and also resources would help develop the team in the
right direction and hopefully push them up the field a bit further. And
having seen Di Resta’s last 2 performances, I think he’s starting to get a
little desperate and made a few critical errors. He needs to get back to
how he was earlier in the season when he was producing the consistent
results.
Oh did I not? I could have sworn I at least mentioned him….must have been
from the previous recording I did. But yeh I agree that he should be in
with a shout for a top team too! Force India are actually doing pretty well
for themselves, chasing the tail of the Mclarens. Whether Di Resta stays or
not for 2014 im not sure but I’m sure he’d be happy to make the jump to a
higher end team, just theres no real space to move yet which is a shame for
him : Talks of Massa going to Lotus.
