REEFBLUENOTCH says:

The TOP stitching was never masked off?!?!?! Am I missing s/thing? He
(you’re) spraying RIGHT OVER the darker baseball stitching it appears to me.

Also, while the person in the demo video has done this before, he still
shows no precautionary measures when he POURS THE LIQUIDS WHILE THE LIGHT
WEIGHT PLASTIC BOTTLE SITS ON THE SEAT?!?! No disrespect, but not too
smart, as ANYONE could end up with the bottles on their side!

David walker says:

Guy Van Brussel says:

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, LJE is called Stone and it is on our colour chart under the heading
1990’s -2009 Jaguar Colour Chart. All you need to do is quote ‘Jag LJE
Stone’ when ordering either online or on the phone. Most Jaguars have a
satin type finish; this is also the most popular selection from our
customers.

THEGENERAL4SHO says:

hey whats up man is that a special paint for just leather?or is it used for
vynl as well?

FurnitureClinic says:

hi, it can be used on both leather and vinyl.

FurnitureClinic says:

We use the Leather Ultra Clean to clean the leather before using the
Colourant Kit. This cleans all the dirt from the leather allowing you to
repair only the damaged bits.

FurnitureClinic says:

If you subscribe to our newsletter we send our discounts once a month. You
can do this from our homepage.

FurnitureClinic says:

The cleaning procedure has a chemical smell. The best time to apply the
colour is when you cannot smell the cleaning solution anymore. Generally
leave the leather for about 1 hour, but if you use a hair drier you can
speed this up.

Josh McCarthy says:

If purchased can this be shipped to the U.S.

merabi berdzenishvili says:

cleansed skin. how much time must pass to color

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, this is a paint. All car leather is painted and so it is just
re-applying this coating. A dye wouldn’t be suitable for car leather. The
can we are using is just air pressure to propel the airbrush, using a
compressor is fine; we use compressors too.

merabi berdzenishvili says:

What cleaner to use before painting

FurnitureClinic says:

@bizzyfingers haha, I’ve got a steady hand! It’s a water based Colourant
though so even if it did spill it would just wipe off – as long as it’s
still wet is easy to clean off.

THEGENERAL4SHO says:

is this a paint or dye or are they both the same ? can paint be used on
leather? i have a air brush gun but it has a small compressor on it what is
the can that you are using is it just pressure to act as a compressor in a
can. is anything coming out of the can besides pressure?

thebigbus1 says:

Great vid. I’m wondering…I have an ’09 M3 with a glossy/sticky steering
wheel, and am thinking the top finish is wearing/worn off. It doesn’t
necessarily need recoloring…could I simply prep the wheel and add a layer
of the Finish in order to get it back to its matte look, along with its
original protection? Can the finish be applied over the “good” areas as
well, where the original finish is still intact? Thanks!

bizzyfingers says:

Pouring the colour into the pot on the seat looks rather risky to me, 5:09

FurnitureClinic says:

Yes it can. We can ship to the US with FedEx or by Royal Mail. You can
order on our website and select your delivery method there.

john2000cash says:

Hi, Went to your site after recommendation from jaguarforums, but could not
find the color code LJE for a 2004 Jaguar X Type (UK registration). Leather
colour is grey. One more thing please – how do I determine the finish?
whether it’s matt, semi matt, satin, gloss or semi gloss? Thanks!

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, You could use a mini air compressor or look for these cans in hobby
craft or DIY stores. We do sell a compressor on our website.

roger mursick says:

how many coats of protectorate did you say…3 or 30? thanks for the video.
Nicely done. where may I buy the kit, I’m in the USA?

rocktoohardcore says:

Wait… did I just hear you use “inch” measurements? are you sure this is
english or USA?

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, You can buy the product from our website and we’ll ship it to the USA.
With FedEx the delivery time is only 1 or 2 days. We just applied 3 coats
of Finish (protective spray). This will give you a very strong coat.

mera beria says:

How can I get a discount code

overlaper says:

He shouldn’t pour the paint into the airbrush jar over the seat could spill.

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, there is a link in the description. The company is Furniture Clinic.
There are lots of colours on our website to choose from; there is no best
white, just whatever you prefer.

FurnitureClinic says:

Hi, Sometimes leather goes shiny when it gets dirty so maybe all it needs
is a good clean. I’d advise trying this first, but if that doesn’t work you
could then prep and finish the wheel, just be careful not to remove any
colour when you do, otherwise you’d need to re-colour too!
