even on an $80k+ car, you still get orange peel, unless i’m just seeing
things (to the right of his head where the light is) and i never understood
why people like to debadge. makes their car look so bland with so much
empty space in an area.

OhWiseOne says:

Love your great videos….you seem so neat and tidy,do you fold your
underpants in your drawers?

Tyler Walker says:

Would using acetone work for getting the glue off while not ruining the
paint? I don’t mean the industrial strength stuff, i mean just a bit more
powerful than nail polish remover..

EndofDays213 says:

i thought it be held with pins.. thats interesting it isnt

herve30able1 says:

So much talking and repetition… The time he spent on this little logo =
enough time to change 4 tires and more…

dwoodog says:

Thanks for the tip, glad your back, I was starting to get lazy on some of
my cleaning/detailing routine on my own vehicle, and need you to boot my
ass and tell me to smarten up by putting out more videos!

MIke Rr says:

Oy, is it safe to use Goo Off on clear coat?

KaMak719 says:

any tips on cleaning the emblem? I wash with the 2 bucket method, dry with
waffleweave (can’t airdry) and I notice the emblems on the back of my car
(C350) tends to have watermarks around the lettering/numbers. Any tips
without scratching the clearcoat?

Eric Kuan says:

Larry are we going to see some more DRIVE-CLEAN or is it going to be Drive+
content only?

marcuslordml says:

How do you remove them off glass? My citroen c1 has a massive c1 on the
back and it makes the back of the car look ugly I was wonder would you just
do the same or not?

Baerchenization says:

If you are very worried or the car is very expensive, you could push a
water soaked cloth or water-filled freezer bag, etc against the plastic
part from behind the badge, i.e. from inside the car – that would dissipate
excess heat away from the plastic.

Could you use boiling water instead of the heat gun?

mark gaudie says:

Oh crap, I just heard you say in the video how soft Nissan paint is.
I wish I had known that before getting a Murano. a 2012 with well waxed
paint – girlfriend is driving it, gets a bird crap on the back hatch below
the window,
when I wash it off, it’s eaten through the paint, through the primer, and
is cracking down to the plastic, I couldn’t believe it, asked the Nissan
dealer, basically ‘tough, you got something on it’ Think I’ll switch to
Toyota next, do they have better paint?

Mchlgraca15 says:

Larry have you ever worked on a Tiburon?

James Hastings says:

Dunno what kind of money you make but I bet you could make some serious
coin getting into aircraft detailing. You almost inspire me to attempt it
as a side-gig.

DJEddieXZ says:

Why didn’t you just use the orange citrus spray? It works fine and doesn’t
damage paint or finish? Much less headache and you don’t burn your hands
(as long as you don’t have any open cuts) lol.

Dawson Fuehrer says:

ACL tear?

Grajeda says:

I removed the side molding from a Suburban and used 3M Adhesive Remover on
the thick part of the adhesive and rolled it off the truck without having
to go back and mess with thin parts of residue.

saucychurch23 says:

Why would you ever want to remove the emblems on this car? It’s like
removing a unicorn’s horn :(

Edmund Ng says:

Hi larry, please advise on how to get rid of dried up sticky stuff? My

up under the sun.
