The last Ferrari California wasn’t very good. It wasn’t any good, according to Chris. Do a new face and a new engine change all that?

I’m a bit mixed on the California generally. Didn’t like it at all when it
first came out. Unfortunate styling, with that bulky back end and the
horrifying stacked exhausts. The new T version is a lot better; no longer
an ugly duckling. I actually don’t mind that fact it’s turbocharged because
it doesn’t sound too bad but I’ll still have a 355 or a 458 anyday.
Just don’t bother turbocharging the 458 replacement please Ferrari.
The flat plane V8 sounded absolutely balls out epic in the F355. Ferrari
haven’t gotten it as good since. Perhaps they need to bring back five
valves per cylinder…
So I’m guessing Ferrari has taken you off the blacklist? What did you have
to promise them in return haha
Really sorry Drive but not sure your strategy is working… sad thing for
me to say as a supporter and someone who has wanted to pay.

People that want to subscribe still cannot do so. I cannot subscribe due to
google+ so the only way to watch is via a torrent. I’ve asked for a paypal
account so I can donate but so far I’ve not had a reply.
My biggest issue now though is I don’t agree with the split strategy. Free
3min movies on the normal channel or slightly longer ones on drive+
(nothing up to the 15mins that was promised) but the longer ones are just
duplicating a lot of what is said in the free video. In this cali T vid you
hear twice about how they had to restrict power output so it doesnt step on
the toes of the 458 and how it now looks like a ferrari should.
Sorry but the paid vids need to be completely different to the free ones
and contain all new content and be 10 mins+. 8 mins, half of which is going
over what the free video said anyway, isn’t all that interesting.
I like at 4:32 drifting into a corner the top is up, but when exiting the
top is down.
Why is there a guy hiding behind the armco @ 7:25? Is he OK?
I actually prefer the older California for looks :/

if you look at the previous California they’ve litterly changed the
already present design, every single part of it, and scuplted into
something better looking and morfed it together with the new design
headlights (which are present on the 458,FF, F12).
