For a normal car on normal brakes. You can make them them glow. You will
notice a increased stopping distance and eventually brake failure. They’re
running race compound brakes (they’d be insane not to) so this is normal.
In fact, race brakes tend to not work well if they’re not red hot. From a
engineering / physics standpoint it’s very interesting.
