This Ferrari 360 Spider had a leaking hydraulic cylinder so as part of the sale of the car, we wanted to have it fixed for the new owner. The process to remove the old cylinder is to cut it out using a dremel. You have to be careful not to damage the hydraulic lines, but it’s a reasonably simple process. Installing the new cylinder is pretty simple.

"You wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world"
Instead of using a cut off wheel…..get you a carbide tip cutting burr. You can get them in a very steep point and have better placement.
You guys need a vise mounted to a bench.
You're going to shoot yourself in the eye with hydraulic oil if you guys keep pressing on hydraulic cylinder pistons.
It's just a matter of time! lol
Another car out the door!
Now that’s how you do it folks! Craftsmanship + Expertise equals one hell of a Ferrari!!
Job well done Dan
I think if I had a Spider I'd just make the top manual so I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking
We now know who P.T. Barnum was talking about when he famously said "There is a sucker born every minute!" FERRARI OWNERS!!! I have never seen people over pay for a car so much and have so many issues! It does however make for entertaining YouTube!
IMO that cyl is a bad design. Where the lines go into it should be threaded fittings.
I’m starting to think there’s some bad blood with Ron Jeremy
so is that place that rebuilds the cylinders pretty reasonable compared to new or are new unobtanium
Yay ….. first !!!! Lol….
