@darkariiq The clutch is about the same as a modern car but a bit stiffer.
It’s cable driven not hydraulic so it might not be quite as smooth. The
shifting is stiff but has a very positive feel unlike some cheaper cars
nowadays.

how often do you drive it?

searaydrivingguy says:

i owned a 308 there nice to drive and look great but the maintance bill
outstrip the price of car there not worth what it costs to fix enymore buy
a porsche 911 1999 or up you can drive until your heart desires and not
worrie about racking to many miles on it or having to change belts
waterpump and adjust valves every 30k to the tune of $4500 but the old
ferrari 308 has a certain mysteek that makes it timeless only buy a real
low mile car there the one’s you want in a ferrarri 308

My dad drives it whenever the weather is nice. It’s not a garage queen.

Thank you for making this great video. I was just in the middle of swapping
the steering rack on a 1976 308GTB and wasn’t sure how to approach some
tight areas. Even though most things on this car are low tech, it helps to
see it done at least once. Thanks for your help!
