So far best explanation. Everybody talks about two pins and all I see four little holes. Well, it’s clear to me that that has to comes off as well. Very good. I have 2001 525iAT
Did this on my E39. Except I used a screwdriver to get it off, just put a cloth under the screwdriver
What’s up with your hood?
I did a DIY for the rear badges. Thought this might be helpful for the hood emblem, if only even for tagging purposes.
I got the idea but there certainly are some steps I’d do more gently and more carefully.
Be careful as you put the new badge onto the car not to use too much force in small areas. I have dented my badge by putting it on with too much force in one spot and now need to get another… Press where the studs are and should be all good!
Thank you for the reply
Do It Yourself.
Very nice!
Thanks nice video what’s DIY??
I think this DIY has already been posted, by another E39 Source member.
