Got exactly the same problem with one of my 4000’s? I was hoping it was the
ribbon connector on the back of the screen had just worked loose but
checked that and it was ok. I can’t get the case apart to check the other
end of the cable. Any idea how to open the old girl up??? Think I got all
the screws out but don’t want to force it and snap something??
man check external interference from any microwave radiation …. try to
change it’s position to a more relaxed from waves place …. you might be
targeted with a certain beam that cause this flitching …. I mean you are
followed by the police or government …. other wise you can turn it on and
turn it of multiple times and finally you will get it work …. if this
didn’t work you need to change the screen or the cable … Hope this could
help I have the same one man
@arieljersey Replaced it already. I think I need another video board (The
one with the DVI and S-Video ports on it ) I have opened the laptop before
many of times so I know how it’s built.
I had the exact same problem with my Acer Ferrari 4000. It was due to a
cracked Mobo. After having it replaced the problem was gone. I have had to
have the Mobo replaced a couple times for the following reason. The Mobo is
very sensitive to flexing when carried around.
