Mark StClair says:

That was the easiest drum brake job I’ve ever had done. And the quickest!

John Smith says:

Great video! Short and to the point. The only thing I would add is to blast
the whole brake area with brake cleaner once you take off the drum. That
way you don’t inhale brake dust and also why not clean it while you have it
apart? Anyhow good vid.

Angel G. says:

Awesome video. Good view of everything and explanation.

Agent22817 says:

@wonfeather The old shoes will form a bit of a rut in the drum which the
new set will ride inside. This causes a bit of a lip that, if you’re using
the old drums, can make it difficult getting them back on over the new,
bigger, shoes. Once you get over the lip it should be just fine. You may
have to adjust the star washer so the adjuster is shorter and then adjust
them more through the hole in back once the old drums are fully on.

Great video. It’s short but has all the small details and suggestions
needed. Just replaced some brake pads using this video and it was a lot of
help. Good job.
