I had a question. I have a 2007 dodge grand caravan. Do I need to use a c
clamp to compress a piston? I’ve looked at other video’s and it says to
that. I’ve never replaced my own brakes before and I don’t even know if
that step is necessary.
I had a question about the rear left. Mine has a mechanical emergency brake
and it is built into the rear of the caliper. I have replaced the pads and
rotor on that side but my caliper piston will not compress. I was just
wondering if it was something the e-brake switch could be preventing or is
it seized?
I loved the video thanks a lot for all the great info. I have a question
though! I replaced both rotors and break pads just fine but now have a loud
squeak noise when I come to a slow stop. How do I get rid of this squeak
have had it for about a month now?
excellent video-very easy to follow.
It’s the best video I’ve seen at all … Thanks
Thank you so much. Your visual instruction was awesome.
Thanks bro
Great just what we need more armatures doing their own brakes……feel
scared people, feel very scared, feel very very scared!
Called Sears, they don’t do brakes. Called CarMax, I get a discount on
services there, no answer. I used this video to change the front pads on my
Town and Country. First time. Thank you for the great video.
good video, will try it when need be. Will save it
thats awesome including your daughter ! shes a cutie. Great job on the
video !
Super easy…great instructions. Next I will rebuild an engine.
Great and encouraging instruction! Thanks a million!
Very good! TY!
Just did my rotors and pads in under an hour. This video is dead on,
excellent step by step direction to get the job done. Rotors and pads cost
me 98.00 delivered to my door. Local shop quoted me 320. Feels good to do
it yourself as well as to save a few hundred!!!
Great video! Thanks for putting that together and making life easy for
others to plan for and complete a job.
Nice C clamp idea. Helps a lot.
And nice clear audio. How did you do the audio? Was that edited in after
the video or were you wearing a mic?
And yes I sat through the 30 second comercial so you got that fifty cent
pay off. Hope it helps.
Thanks again.
Nice and very clear , so simple ,. I have done many times the service brake
on TC both front and rear.. Everything is simple except one think. You
didn’t show how to remove the old rusted rotor. Remove the old rotor is not
easy.
I would have love to see how you handled the removal of a stuck rotor. But
this is the best video I have watched. Great explanations and visual was
excellent!
Great video! very clear!…I knew how to do the job, but this was a great
video to watch and make sure everything was done right! Keep up the great
work!!!
Your video was done very well, but I do have one criticism. The only thing
that I would have added and encouraged was to clean coating off of the new
rotors with BrakeKleen. I am surprised you didn’t mention it.
Did he just say soccer mom? Liked the video though. Slow pace, clear audio
and lighting. Awesome Job!
I thank you for this video. My husband and I were able to change the front
brake pads on our 2008 dodge caravan. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome video!!!!! I love the simple step by step approach……guess what
I’m doing this weekend haha????
Great vid, thanks
Great vid, thanks to your video there were no surprises!
great information. thanks a lot. save me a bundle.
It’s been 15 years since I’ve owned a Caravan, glad to see they changed the
design on that caliper slide bolt. Much easier. Nice video.
Hey men thank you ,I change the rotors and brake pads from my dodge grand
caravan.was so easy to do.thanks to your video.
Great job , all info much appreciated TY….
Very good video, very well done. I was looking for info for the same work
on a 2009 Dodge journey but i’m pretty sure they are much the same. Good
job !
