I also have a 2006 dodge charger 5.7 police package that i bought on ebay
out of Chicago. Very fun and powerful car to drive.

Erik Anderson says:

I love this video. entertaining. I love how you talk. “Right hee-ya”,
“haha! special”, “you’re bound to drop a wrench, a bolt, or some bullshit”
haha I love it. sooo true

Joe Johnson says:

Your commentary is hilarious.

james payne says:

i think you mean 15 more to go bro…unless you have the new 9 cylinder
…lo great video man

UBBERTANKER says:

way to much antisize

goodears100 says:

Hey nice video.

Brice5100 says:

Thank you for this video 🙂 Now I will know how to change my spark plugs…
I’m from Tahiti and I have a 2006 dodge charger RT. In Tahiti there’s no
parts for this car, we are obliged to order. if you have another video that
shows how to change the hydraulic lifters, I’d like to see.

Paleo for Power says:

Is this vid still applicable to 2012? they want $287 to do this at the
Dealership.

quocpauo says:

Did not know that a Hemi requires 16 plugs. That is at least one Benjamin
right there DIY! Mercedes not just lend its chassis but its twin plugs
design also. A pain in the butt to replace and to pay for it

LSE SSII says:

Nothing that deep into the engine yet yeah. I do have alot on the front
end, brakes, alternator, pullys, pumps, front end swaybar end links made a
big differance on ride noise. Check out the “throtle body gasket
replacement” cleaning that helps on power. Thanks for the coment. Lightning

Jacob Marley says:

Man this guys pretty cool. Great tips

Slader Roberts says:

Fixin to do it on my 07 Ram… Looks like a bitch but here goes haha. Your

TexasEzzyLBK says:

Did you have remove a manifold?

briang21iscool says:

awesome tips, thanks, I am going out now to get my parts and then to do the
spark plugs, Totally appreciate your video! Thank you very much!!

JoanVeld says:

Great production, something even a mother would love. Very educational AND
entertaining. Mom

Joshua Edward says:

Just use the coil to drop the plugs back in and to pull them out. I used to
be so dumbfounded on my Neon on what to do, then I got smart one day
slapped myself across the face and started using the spark plug wire/boot
to pull the plugs out & put them in. Easy Easy Easy no hose no bullshit
just ownage. Works on ALL Generations of Hemi’s & Neon engines lol anything
with spark plug tubes.

alicelouise1 says:

was going to have a go on my 07 300c SRT8 after watching this im off to the
garage LOL..

Allen Mcmillian says:

Mercedes did not lend the two plug per cylinder to dodge, hemi’s have
always had that

K ris says:

It all depends on what you want to spend. Denso Iridium’sa are great plugs,
but they cost quite a bit. Needing 16 of them is extremely expensive. NGK
is another manufacturer that makes a good plug. They manufacture AC Delco’s
plugs as well. I’ve used their platinums with good results. Same goes for
Bosch Platinum or P2’s and Autolite Platinum. But Champions? They foul too
easily, and leave too much raw fuel behind. I’d rather run E3’s, a pretty
decent plug, in my tractor.

LSE SSII says:

Ya me to but I am starting with what they call for then go up from there.
Reason is the thing is over perticular. Cops cars. Thanks for the reminder
gotta pull those. So what “would” you use ? Why say they suck, they have
been working great, just tell everyone what is the best plug for an 06
Dodge Charger 5.7 Hemi and leave the hate outside. Thanks.

LSE SSII says:

@RaguelAngelofBalance your welcome.

Steven Knuth says:

Same set up on a 2007 pursuit.

Brice5100 says:

Thanks a lot for your help.

K ris says:

They recommend Champions? I wouldn’t run Champs in my lawnmower

ezwholio says:

awesome! thanks

HIMI2003 says:

note to self, don’t buy a old police charger.

ljr111 says:

You NEVER want to put Anti-Seize to the last 2 threads that are going into
the cylinder or combustion chamber. The loose anti-seize can over time faul
your spark plug or valves.

LSE SSII says:

Ya that is a good one to. Just I do not like to move the elictrical things
around to much. They do not call me Lightning for nothing ; p Thanks for
more tips. Lightning.

LSE SSII says:

Good call. When at an auction “Do not swing at fly’s” like me, end up with
a Police Charger. Thank god it was not a Ford Crown Vic on the block. LOL!
Only 80 thousand on it now runs great pasted smog very well so it is a
keeper. It sure gets allot of cop attention, like code 27605 has come up on
one of the stops.

LongBeachguy562 says:

You made it look real easy, so what time do I drop my car off, lol!

LSE SSII says:

Thank you for the comment. Good luck. Let me know how it went.

m.EVOLUTION says:

good work.can i aske you!?! Can i make my stock heads ported! My charger rt
2010.CAI..bbk..termostat 160 diablosport chip. im allredy program the fans
at 160gegree

LSE SSII says:

Thank you for saying. There seems to be very few repair videos for 2006
chargers. This was my first Hemi spark plug change. First “auto” video also.

Marcos AA says:

Ive got that kind of click clack thing too! its def not knocking, its just
a small ticks like noisey lifters I figured, but your sayin the injectors
can cause that sound? did the Lucas work? I use lucas stuff a lot.

KoG GoK says:

you know whats funny iv never been stupid enough to go to a dealer to get
worked done but when i hear stuff like this i cant stop laughing. the
nissan dealer was charging a girl i know 450 to do a spark plug change…

LSE SSII says:

On the lifter thing, if you are not sure it could be the fuel injectors.
Mine make a click clacking sound with any type of fuel (that can be heared
on the Power Steering fluid change video) so I use a Lucas fuel additive.
Called “Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant With Injector Cleaners and Fuel
Conditioners” and I use 6oz per 10 gal.

Erik Anderson says:

Dude I was cracking up the whole time during this video. I love your
personality! “Your bound to drop a wrench, a bolt, or some bullshit down
therh!” hahaha friggin halarious. Great tips tho

LSE SSII says:

Yes the Lucas works to quite the tic sound. They say it is because the
engine drops 4 cylenders when not needed and that is when it tics. when I
am going fast no tic. I put it in the oil and gas.
