Can I install a lowered base and swivel with the 6 way seat?

Great Video … Thanks for paving the way !

Do you know if this works with the factory 6-Way, Heated, and Vinyl Bucket seats?

J B says:

I’m not too happy with the newly installed Sportscraft swivel in my 2014 Sprinter (passenger side). It raised the seat 1 3/4”, it’s difficult to get into the right position to unlock and rotate, and my feet barely touch the ground while facing forward and dangle while facing backward (I’m 5’8”). It’s not the sweet improvement I was hoping for and am wondering the additional cost of the Scopema is worth it.

Jackie Oliver says:

Were did you buy the lower base from ?

Steve Hickman says:

On eurocampers site for the bases, it states to only use the Sportscraft swivels. Having installed them do you see any reason for them to state this other than trying to sell the ones they carry. They don't sell the CTA which I think are better and have used before.

@WanderingWakes I just installed this Sportcraft Lowered Seat Base last night. Your video indicating the size of the Torx bit (T55) was very helpful as I also ran into the issue of the seat base not sliding into place under the rear seat studs. I haven't started trimming down the plastic yet, but will surely use your video for guidance in where to cut. Nice video and THANKS. Happy Trails!

Hello! Can I use this lower base without swivel? Just to lower my seat?

VanpeDiem says:

How are you liking your CTA swivels? Are they pretty smooth in rotating? I'm considering one for passenger side, but really want it to be smooth and user friendly.
