This is the correct way on this car but not on all vipers. Always open
trunk and look for a removable lid under the carpet inside of trunk.

Can you explain where to jack the jack points of the Viper are and how you
jacked the car up?

It’s been a little while since I did it but I do believe I used a lowboy
floor jack for getting under lowered vehicles and I placed its under the
lower control arm support for the rear suspension. In the video you can see
a red floor jack just behind the rear rotor assembly that’s where I put the
jack.
