Your video is awesome. I need to replace my radiator on my Dodge Neon 2003
SXT model but it says there are two avail…1 with a 3 speed fan & 1 with a
4 speed fan…how do I know which one??
The only things I can think of is that maybe it was physically damaged by
something that hit it or maybe the person is thinking about upgrading the
motor and in the meantime just doing supporting mods to compensate for the
extra power/heat that the motor is going to have after the engine upgrades?
I’m assuming the second guess because I can see some aftermarket parts in
the engine bay.
Great video! I have a choice, do it myself for $103 or $270 to the shop ha
ha! Your video is a great help. The best I’ve seen on youtube and
elsewhere! Thanks. Question , did you drain the trans fluid? Others have
suggested so but I see you didn’t cap the lines, is it necessary?
Good video man. I’ve watch alot of your work on neons. they helped me with
my motor/stabalizer mounts on my 2002 neon. Also my alternator belt
replacement. Tomorrow I have to replace the coolant line to the radiator to
tranny( the one thats close to the drivers side tire) Do you know what
size( like diamiter) it is? I bought a Thermoid overflow tube that im
hoping will fit. It withstands coolant a +250 degrees -40. Do you think it
will work?
@richpin06a yeah it was and it was easier too but thanks tho your video
helps me alot it gave me an idea but the other radiator came with oil
coolers or heaters idk but they told me to leave it like than and just
connect the two hoses it had
Thanks! I have a 2000 neon that needs a new radiator. This helped a lot. I
always prefer doing my own auto work and rely heavily on youtube videos
posted by people like you to get details that my Chilton’s doesn’t provide.
It’s also a lot easier to see the steps than just read them.
I have found sometimes when replacing a aftermarket radiator the spring
hose clamps will not be tight enough and there will be a leak.In this case
i replace the clamps with the screw style.
These videos rule!
@joneidbo I know why put two locks on a connector.

Off hand i do not.If the car was here i would check it out for you but it
is not at the moment.
YOU DONT HAVE TO MOVE THE COMPUTER OR THE INTAKE HEAD AT ALL
@mrbeanz63 When you remove the lines from the radiator it will drain a
small amount of fluid from the cooler in the radiator.

The explanation about the connector lock was great…you didn’t have to do
it but you did. That’s what sets him apart from the rest. Good job.
@m8more thank you
idk wat i did wrong
Great job! good quality camera. The connector disconnect was a bugger for
me. your description was great. THanx.
Can you show to remove the 10mm bolts if the heads broke off. Good video
thanks for sharing, it’ll help if I buy a neon.
